Job Description
The Patient Registry Representative
will be responsible for gathering and verifying patient data, performing data entry, and supporting registry operations. The role involves handling sensitive patient information with discretion and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect missing information from external customers, including hospital staff and physician offices.
- Review and evaluate patient and event information, gathering additional data when needed to determine whether events should be escalated.
- Perform peer audits of Implant Patient Registry (IPR) data.
- Sort and organize incoming mail by date, and print and mail patient ID cards.
- Respond to basic inquiries and participate in projects aimed at improving data quality and registry processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to type a minimum of 55 WPM accurately.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of HIPAA, GDP, and complaint-handling regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with professionalism.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree or equivalent required.
- 0–2 years of related experience.
- Prior experience handling patient-sensitive information preferred.
