We’re hiring an experienced Portfolio Manager
to join a leading retail and hospitality organisation, based in Bury St Edmunds
with a hybrid working model(typically 2–3 days onsite).
This is a key role focused on delivering and managing a portfolio of business application initiatives, particularly those supporting Finance
and core business processes. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure projects align with business priorities and deliver real value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of initiatives across business applications, with a strong focus on finance-related systems and processes
- Partner with the Finance team to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable plans
- Ensure projects are aligned with organisational goals, delivering measurable outcomes for the business
- Lead prioritisation, planning, and progress tracking across the portfolio
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, supporting collaboration and decision-making
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience managing portfolios or programs focused on business or finance applications(e.g., ERP, budgeting, forecasting, or reporting systems)
- Background in finance or significant experience working alongside Finance teams
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- A solid understanding of financial processes and business operations
- Experience working in large, fast-paced organisations – retail or hospitality sector experience is a bonus
