SAP HR Consultant – Employee Central (EC)

We are looking for an experienced SAP HR Consultant with strong SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and EC Time Off experience to support ongoing BAU activity and system improvement initiatives.

This role will suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, working closely with HR and Payroll teams, and taking ownership of incident resolution, enhancements and continuous improvement across the SuccessFactors landscape.

The role:

You’ll act as a subject matter expert for Employee Central and EC Time Off, supporting day-to-day operations while also contributing to solution design and system enhancements. You’ll collaborate with a range of stakeholders to ensure HR systems are stable, well governed and aligned to business needs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own the day-to-day support and maintenance of SAP SuccessFactors, with a focus on Employee Central and EC Time Off

  • Respond to BAU incidents and change requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution

  • Work closely with HR and Payroll teams to understand requirements and translate them into system solutions

  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including configuration and data-related problems

  • Lead requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing and deployment activities

  • Translate business needs into clear system designs, aligned to governance standards and best practice

  • Engage regularly with stakeholders to build strong working relationships and maintain visibility of IT support

  • Support and deliver training sessions for HR teams and end users as required

About you:

  • Strong experience delivering full lifecycle implementations of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and EC Time Off

  • 5+ years’ experience working across SAP SuccessFactors in both functional and technical capacities

  • Solid understanding of HR processes and how they translate into system configuration

  • Confident working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, with clear and professional communication skills

  • Collaborative team player who shares knowledge and supports wider team objectives

  • SAP Employee Central and EC Time Off certifications are essential
