We're currently looking for a Senior AEM Developer to join our fintech client in Melbourne on a permanent basis.

They are looking for an experienced engineer with a passion for innovation, customer engagement & marketing technology.

What You’ll Do

  1. Design and implement Martech solutions that support campaign automation, customer segmentation, journey orchestration, and personalization across digital channels.
  2. Collaborate with marketing, data, and engineering teams to align technology solutions with business goals.
  3. Integrate third-party marketing platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Segment, Braze, or similar) with internal systems and data pipelines.
  4. Support and enhance customer data platforms (CDPs), tagging strategies, consent management tools, and event tracking frameworks.
  5. Ensure data quality, privacy, and compliance across all Martech tools and platforms.
  6. Maintain and evolve marketing automation workflows, APIs, and real-time event processing capabilities.
  7. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to a DevOps culture through CI/CD, monitoring, and performance optimization.
  8. Stay informed about emerging Martech trends and advocate for innovation where it brings business value.

What It Takes

Required experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. 7+ years of experience as a software engineer working with JS frameworks, particularly AngularJS
  3. Hands-on experience designing components with one or more major Martech platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Platform ideally).
  4. Strong skills in Java, RESTful APIs, data transformation and front-end tag management.
  5. Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs), analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), and A/B testing platforms.
  6. Experience working in AWS environments
  7. Working knowledge of data privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA) and customer consent management.

Desirable:

  1. Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries.
  2. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  3. Prior experience with journey orchestration platforms, identity resolution, or audience segmentation.
  4. Understanding of digital marketing strategy and key performance metrics.
