A leading medical device manufacturer is seeking a Medical Device Assembly Specialist to join their precision manufacturing team. This role involves hands-on, detailed assembly of implantable devices in a controlled cleanroom environment, using microscopes and specialized tools. This role is offered on a full-time and permanent basis, and is based onsite at their Santa Fe Springs location.
Hourly rate:$24-28/hr
What You’ll Do:
- Assemble implantable devices by hand, performing intricate sewing and assembly tasks with precision tools.
- Inspect and verify completed assemblies against specifications under a microscope.
- Maintain accurate, traceable records in digital systems for each step of production.
- Follow strict manufacturing instructions, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Keep your work area sanitized and organized throughout your shift.
What We’re Looking For:
- Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure flawless device assembly.
- Comfortable performing tasks under a microscope.
- Basic computer skills for logging production data.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions independently and communicate effectively in English.
- Understanding of or willingness to work within cleanroom protocols.
Preferred Background:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in sewing, medical device assembly, GMP environments, or cleanroom operations.
- Completion of training in device assembly procedures.
