Vehicle Operations Associate

Pay Rate:$22–$29/hr
2 month Contract
We’re hiring reliable and detail-oriented team members to support vehicle operations for a leading electric vehicle manufacturer. Ideal candidates are organized, hands-on, and comfortable working with vehicles. Previous valet, detailing, or automotive experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in operations, logistics, or automotive support
- (Valet, detailing, or service writing experience welcome!)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- At least 21 years old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Proficient with basic computer tools (Microsoft Office, etc.)
Key Responsibilities
- Wash and clean vehicle exteriors and interiors
- Shuttle vehicles between locations (customer and fleet)
- Perform pre-delivery inspections, including:
- Cosmetic checks
- Test drives
- Basic tool use (torque wrench, compressed air tools)
- Identify and report any vehicle defects
- Maintain lot organization and safe drive lanes
- Prepare and stage trade-in vehicles for transport
- Keep vehicles delivery-ready at all times
- Use computers and software to complete tasks
- Support team with other duties as needed
Physical Requirements
- Comfortable working indoors/outdoors in various conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, kneeling, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Able to read and interpret basic technical documents and safety procedures
