Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will apply diversified engineering knowledge to support wind turbine operations and maintenance. Key responsibilities include:
- Utilizing advanced engineering techniques and modifying existing theories, practices, and procedures.
- Planning and conducting work requiring independent judgment and adaptation of standard approaches.
- Developing new solutions to operational and technical problems.
- Supporting the operation and maintenance of a large wind turbine fleet across North America.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Job Functions
- Apply engineering principles to a wide variety of assignments.
- Modify and extend established engineering methods to meet project needs.
- Evaluate, select, and adapt techniques and criteria to address operational requirements.
- Devise innovative solutions to problems encountered in daily work.
Knowledge & Skills
- Broad understanding of engineering principles and related fields.
- Ability to apply advanced techniques to diverse technical assignments.
- Strong problem-solving and independent decision-making skills.
- Capability to adapt standard procedures to meet project-specific needs.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR 2–5 years of relevant duties experience.
- 0–2 years of relevant supervisory experience (if applicable).
- 3–5 years of large motor/generator experience preferred.
