A leading international law firm is looking to hire a talented Project Development Associate at 1–3 PQE to join its highly regarded projects practice in Abu Dhabi.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with strong top-tier international firm experience to work on sophisticated, high-value projects across the Middle East, advising major international and regional clients on the development and financing of complex projects.
The Role
You will work as part of a market-leading projects team, advising on a broad range of project development matters, with exposure to major infrastructure, energy and other strategically significant projects across the region.
The role will involve:
- Advising sponsors, developers, investors and other stakeholders on project development and delivery.
- Working on complex infrastructure and energy projects from development through to implementation.
- Drafting and negotiating key project and commercial documentation.
- Working closely with lawyers across other practice areas and jurisdictions.
- Developing relationships with sophisticated international and regional clients.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a lawyer who can demonstrate:
- 1–3 years' PQE experience in project development/projects.
- Common law qualification.
- Training and experience at a top-tier international or leading law firm.
- Strong academics and excellent technical ability.
- Experience working on sophisticated, cross-border projects.
- Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
- The ambition and commercial awareness to develop within a leading international practice.
- Middle East experience is advantageous but not essential.
