In this role, you will provide essential support within warehouse operations for a major industrial client. Responsibilities span full account management to operational logistics. This includes addressing customer and vendor inquiries, managing materials, and assisting with fulfillment processes.
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials as needed.
- Pick and palletize items for requisitions, job orders, and stock transport requests.
- Use banding and wrapping tools to prepare items for shipment.
- Schedule freight and UPS pickups, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
- Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Handle customer support tasks such as billing, contractor invoice processing, claims resolution, and account maintenance.
Knowledge & Skills: - Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interact with internal teams and external vendors.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory systems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Forklift and warehouse equipment experience preferred but not required.
- Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Education & Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (customer service, logistics, claims, or billing support).
