Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will provide administrative and accounting support to ensure smooth departmental operations during a period of high workload. Key responsibilities include:
- Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records.
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders.
- Support account reconciliations and verify accuracy of financial data.
- Maintain and organize both digital and physical filing systems.
- Respond to internal inquiries regarding financial and administrative documentation.
- Compile reports and summaries for management review.
- Perform general administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation.
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
- Provide administrative support to accounting technicians and department staff.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for compliance and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address questions regarding financial records.
- Exercise independent judgment in handling routine and moderately complex administrative tasks.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2–4 years of administrative or customer service experience.
- Experience supporting accounting or financial functions preferred.
