Automation Solutions Engineer – Onsite in West Lebanon, NH
Contract: 12+ months | Full-time | $90/hour W2
A leading international engineering consultancy specializing in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries is looking for a Automation Solutions Engineer
to join a long-term project onsite in West Lebanon, NH. This role supports the delivery and lifecycle of automation solutions for Building Management Systems (BMS) within a highly regulated environment. The project is based at a global life sciences manufacturing site, and the work is fully onsite. As a w2 contract worker you are eligible to a benefits package including health/dental/vision/life insurance, a 401k vehicle and more.
Hourly rate:$85-95/hr (~$170-190K/year)
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior automation professional with deep experience in Siemens building automation platforms - particularly Insight and Desigo CC -
to contribute to the delivery of a technically complex and regulated automation environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, implement, and support BMS automation systems in a GMP manufacturing setting
- Take ownership of Siemens Insight and Desigo CC systems across the facility
- Lead FAT, SAT, IQ, and OQ activities, ensuring systems meet quality and regulatory expectations
- Work within GAMP lifecycle methodology to ensure compliant automation solutions
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, validation, QA, and operations
- Manage or contribute to project timelines, scope, and coordination of internal/external resources
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure adherence to GDP
- Participate in system troubleshooting and provide ongoing technical support as needed
- Support development and deployment of automation templates and engineering standards
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting BMS automation solutions
- Extensive hands-on experience with Siemens Insight and Desigo CC platforms (must-have)
- Strong knowledge of Siemens PCS systems and process automation architectures
- Deep familiarity with GAMP, ISA S88, 21 CFR Part 11, GDP, and validation practices in GMP environments
- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting all stages of system testing (FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ)
