Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst Associate (Client Support)
with a strong customer-service mindset and analytical skill set to support operations within the Retail Energy and Natural Gas sector. This role serves as a key post-deal liaison between channel partners and the sales organization, ensuring accurate resolution of operational and client-related inquiries across deregulated energy markets.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment requiring problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and consistent adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary post-deal point of contact for channel partners and sales representatives
- Research, analyze, and resolve post-contract inquiries, including:
- Commission inquiries
- Enrollment rejections
- Billing discrepancies
- Early termination and drop notifications
- Regulatory complaints
- Tax exemption requests
- Market and pricing change communications
- Conduct operational and data analysis to support informed decision-making
- Navigate and resolve complex issues across multiple deregulated energy markets
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution
- Track deliverables, provide status updates, and communicate effectively with leadership
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
- Maintain high standards of customer advocacy and service excellence
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in client support, operations, or analytical roles
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with financial or operational analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field
