Job Description
What You’ll Do
- Perform engineering tasks related to configuring, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading CAD and PLM applications and processes.
- Create and maintain battery CAD data using CATIA and ENOVIA.
- Support the development and implementation of methodologies, standards, and processes for high-fidelity digital product data.
- Analyze battery packaging zones for clash, clearance, and contact issues; document findings and coordinate with the design team.
- Maintain accurate BOM and design attributes in accordance with engineering requirements.
- Support creation and maintenance of assembly drawings and ensure correct data relationships within the PLM environment.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience using CATIA and ENOVIA(V6 / 3D Experience preferred).
- Experience in battery or electrical hardware design; plastics and sheet metal design experience is beneficial.
- Background in CAD, manufacturing, and product data management systems.
- Experience with automotive virtual, mule, prototype, or production builds.
- Solid understanding of design engineering and manufacturing engineering processes.
