Role Overview
We are providing experienced Cloud Engineers
to deliver hands-on build and migration activities for a data centre exit and cloud migration programme
within a wealth management, asset management, or life & pensions
environment.
Candidates must have prior cloud engineering experience within one or more of these financial services domains, working in regulated, security-conscious environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and configure cloud infrastructure in line with approved designs
- Support setup of:
- Cloud landing zones
- Networking and connectivity
- Identity, access, and security controls
- Monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Execute application and data migrations from on-premise to cloud
- Support lift-and-shift and re-platform migration patterns
- Troubleshoot migration and performance issues
- Support testing, cutover, and decommissioning of legacy data centre environments
- Automate infrastructure and deployment processes where possible
- Work closely with architects, platform teams, and application owners
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proven experience supporting data centre exit and cloud migration programmes
- Mandatory domain experience in at least one of the following:
- Wealth Management
- Asset Management
- Life & Pensions
- Experience operating in regulated financial services environments
- Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and resilience
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation
