We’re supporting a major financial services organisation on a large-scale data centre exit and cloud transformation programme.
This is not a greenfield “nice-to-have” cloud project. This is real engineering.
You’ll be part of a 4–5 person engineering squad responsible for:
- Migrating infrastructure from on-prem private data centre into AWS
- Untangling legacy integrations across a wider group ecosystem
- Rehosting and replatforming services
- Implementing modern Infrastructure as Code and automation standards
- Building scalable, secure AWS landing environments
Architecture is already covered internally, this role is about hands on applied engineering.
The role:
- Delivering AWS infrastructure using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
- Supporting lift & shift and rehost migration strategies
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / similar)
- Driving containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes)
- Building automation around monitoring, logging and alerting
- Integrating with wider platforms including Salesforce and other third-party systems
- Working closely with internal architects and project teams
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have:
- Strong AWS experience (enterprise-scale environments)
- Terraform / IaC expertise
- CI/CD pipeline experience
- Containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes)
- Monitoring & observability tooling experience
- Experience delivering within structured programmes
Nice to Have:
- Financial services / wealth / asset management exposure
- Data centre migration experience
- Experience working in regulated environments
Working Model
- Primarily remote
- Occasional workshops / design sessions in London
- Embedded within an established programme team
- No unnecessary reporting overhead – you’ll be part of the core delivery team
