Senior SAP IS-U ABAP Developer
Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid; First two weeks will be fully onsite; followed by 1 week each month at the Gas Tower)

We are seeking a Senior SAP IS-U ABAP Developer to support application development, system enhancements, integrations, and production operations within a complex SAP environment. This role will work across SAP IS-U, ABAP, RICEFW, BTP, and UI5 while partnering with technical and functional teams to resolve issues and deliver system improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support SAP IS-U applications through go-live, hypercare, stabilization, and ongoing production support.
- Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs and RICEFW objects, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
- Develop and enhance SAP BTP and UI5 applications.
- Support integrations between SAP and external systems.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and drive defects to resolution within established targets.
- Manage technical tickets and prioritize competing issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with functional, integration, Basis, security, architecture, and project teams on technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployments, and system enhancement activities.
- Communicate technical issues, resolution progress, and root causes to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Stay current with emerging SAP and cloud technologies through ongoing training and hands-on experience.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP IS-U development experience.
- Strong experience developing SAP RICEFW objects.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP.
- Strong SAP BTP/UI5 development experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work independently across multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite.
- Experience with SAP C4C V2.
- Utility industry experience supporting customer information systems (CIS).
- Familiarity with ITIL, TOGAF, PMP, or similar industry standards.
