Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all on-site construction activities for a greenfield combined cycle power plant project
- Manage and hold accountable the EPC contractor for scope, schedule, cost, and quality performance
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and client policies
- Coordinate with engineering, project management, and commissioning teams to support seamless project execution
- Monitor construction progress, resolve field issues, and mitigate risks
- Review and validate contractor schedules, reports, and change orders
- Support project controls, forecasting, and reporting to senior leadership
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of construction management experience in power generation (combined cycle gas power plant)
- Proven experience managing EPC contractors on combined cycle or thermal generation builds
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, commissioning, and startup processes
- Demonstrated leadership in safety, quality, and field execution
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred:
- Experience with greenfield utility-scale projects
- Familiarity with gas turbine, HRSG, and balance-of-plant systems
