Commercial Contract Analyst

Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will support the Gas Contract Administration team by managing and maintaining commercial agreements and related data systems.
Key duties include:
- Reconciling key data points between Gas Midstream and Transportation Agreements and internal systems (e.g., gFlow).
- Linking agreements by ID numbers in the Commercial Contracts Repository.
- Reviewing agreement statuses for potential renewals or terminations.
- Scanning and archiving documents into the Contracts Repository.
- Preparing records retention and archiving forms, including key agreement identifiers.
- Creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets to track contract data and updates.
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of all contract-related data.
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
- Maintain and update contract data with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Support data reconciliation across multiple commercial systems.
- Identify discrepancies and communicate findings to the appropriate teams.
- Organize and file physical and digital records in compliance with company standards.
- Provide analytical and administrative support to the Gas Contract Administration group.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure contract data consistency and integrity.
- Lift/move boxes or files as needed during document management and archiving processes.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel(data management, formulas, and reporting).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and dependable.
- Experience with Quorum QCM, Esuite, TIPS, Visio, or PowerPoint is a plus.
- Ability to interpret and understand contract language preferred.
- Familiarity with land administration or energy sector contracts is advantageous.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma required; some college or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in contract administration, data analysis, or commercial support.
- Prior experience in midstream, gas, or energy industry preferred.
