Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm or 9am–6pm Pacific Time
Pay Range: $46-61/hr.
Note: This role may convert to full-time based on performance, budget, and business need.
About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Atlassian Business Analyst
to support one of our cutting-edge clients in enhancing their Atlassian ecosystem. You’ll serve as a critical link between business and technical teams—ensuring Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management are configured and optimized to drive cross-functional efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to document and translate needs into technical specs and workflows
- Atlassian Administration: Configure and manage Jira, JSM, and Confluence (projects, workflows, permissions, SLAs, etc.)
- Solution Design: Deliver scalable solutions aligned with business needs, including support for cloud migration if applicable
- Reporting & Analytics: Build dashboards and reports using JQL and tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Training & Documentation: Maintain technical documentation and lead user training sessions
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the liaison between users and technical teams to align expectations and outcomes
- Process Improvement: Stay current on Atlassian best practices and proactively suggest enhancements
Qualifications
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst with strong technical focus
- 5+ years of Atlassian experience (Jira, Confluence, JSM configuration and administration)
- Proficient in JQL and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working independently and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, APIs, or cloud platforms is a plus
- Atlassian certifications (ACP-100, ACP-400) and scripting experience (Groovy, Python) are preferred
