Job Description

In this role, you’ll be part of a team responsible for reliability and manufacturing testing of advanced electrical hardware, including Level 3+ ADAS, telematics, infotainment, battery management, and zonal Electronic Control Units (ECUs).

The team designs and builds custom automated test solutions that include internal software, low-level firmware, data management platforms, and electromechanical hardware. These solutions are deployed across internal labs, external partners, and contract manufacturing facilities.

You’ll play a key hands-on technical role—supporting reliability and manufacturing tests, reviewing and reporting test data, building first articles, redlining schematics, and troubleshooting complex issues.

Responsibilities

  • Operate software interfaces to exercise test equipment during hardware bring-up.
  • Validate system functionality using standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, power supplies, digital multimeters, etc.).
  • Own calibration and mechanical setup of thermal and vibration chambers.
  • Troubleshoot, identify root causes, and document device-under-test (DUT), test equipment, and harness failures.
  • Perform circuit board electronic modifications, including component rework and soldering/de-soldering.
  • Support the commissioning and validation of new test systems.

Qualifications

  • Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience in electronics testing.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, drawings, and product data sheets.
  • 5+ years of experience building automated test equipment (ATE) or industrial automation systems.
  • Proficient with soldering, circuit board rework, and power tools.
  • Strong experience with electrical testing using laboratory tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
  • Ability to lift and move test boxes and instrumentation.
  • Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to identify and address gaps independently.
