We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Project Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will lead complex engineering initiatives from early development through construction, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to drive innovative and technically sound solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage PV projects from interconnection through permitting and construction.
- Oversee EORs, EPCs, and technical consultants to ensure all deliverables meet Scope of Work requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop and manage Scopes of Work; participate in contract negotiations.
- Review engineering designs, studies, and drawings for compliance with Scopes of Work, AHJ requirements, and applicable standards.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure adherence to relevant codes and standards.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Support project financing efforts through technical due diligence.
- Provide value-engineering recommendations to optimize cost and performance.
- Offer technical guidance and expertise to project team members.
- Communicate project progress and key milestones to stakeholders.
- Lead technical discussions with Transmission Owners and ISOs to ensure project requirements are fully met.
- Support construction activities and respond to RFIs as needed.
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
Experience
- 6–10 years of experience managing engineering projects, ideally within solar, BESS, or other power-industry applications.
