Engineering Project Manager
New Florence, MO (100% on-site)
Salary: 150-200k

We are seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead digital project delivery, constructability integration, and electrical design coordination for complex industrial and commercial projects. This role bridges engineering, BIM/VDC, and field execution; ensuring models and designs are constructible, fabrication-ready, and aligned with installation workflows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the technical and digital delivery lead for plan/specification, design-assist, and design-build electrical projects.
  • Lead the development and coordination of electrical models and designs including one-line diagrams, power distribution systems, lighting layouts, controls, and equipment placement while ensuring compliance with NEC and applicable local codes.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks to produce coordinated, installation-ready models and drawings, and lead electrical BIM coordination to achieve clash-free integration with other trades. Drive constructability reviews and proactively identify installation constraints, access issues, sequencing conflicts, and productivity risks prior to field execution.
  • Collaborate closely with field leadership and prefabrication teams to incorporate labor efficiency, modularization, and fabrication strategies into design and modeling workflows.
  • Support value engineering initiatives by developing cost-effective technical solutions without sacrificing performance, safety, or quality.
  • Partner with project managers, estimators, and operations leadership to align BIM deliverables with project schedules, budgets, procurement strategies, and construction sequencing.
  • Manage and mentor BIM Engineers, Designers, and VDC resources, including workload planning, performance development, and technical training.
  • Establish and enforce modeling standards, coordination workflows, and quality control processes across projects.
  • Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and client-facing discussions to provide technical leadership during preconstruction and execution phases.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Technology, or related discipline — or equivalent field-based electrical construction experience.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting electrical construction projects in BIM, VDC, engineering, or design-build environments.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting constructability-driven modeling and field coordination workflows.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage direct reports.
  • PE License is preferred but not required.
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
