Role Overview
This role supports analysis and project management of regulated utility operations within a transmission-focused environment. Responsibilities include contributing to forecast consolidation, benchmarking, operational cost efficiency, project execution, project financing, and financial structuring.
Job Overview
The position supports senior management decision-making through financial modeling and analysis. This includes revenue requirement modeling, customer bill impact analysis, discounted cash flow (DCF), and financial statement modeling.
The role involves conducting moderately complex financial analyses to evaluate business decisions and recommending strategies to enhance financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and communicate the financial impact of business decisions on company structure, profitability, and competitiveness using appropriate analytical methods and forecasting models
- Support financial evaluation of projects, including revenue requirements, net present value (NPV), and customer bill impacts
- Provide financial expertise, guidance, and training to internal stakeholders
- Perform financial analyses required by management or regulatory authorities
- Develop and deliver presentations for senior and executive leadership
- Carry out additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of fundamental accounting principles
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements
- Experience with SAP reporting tools (e.g., BusinessObjects)
- Familiarity with utility industry systems and processes
