About the Role
We’re supporting a cutting-edge company in the EV sector looking for a Hardware Validation Engineer
to lead the planning, testing, and continuous improvement of complex automotive systems. This role combines hands-on validation work with data analysis and collaboration across engineering and vendor teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage validation plans and test criteria for mechatronic systems
- Create test specifications and update plans based on DFMEA inputs
- Perform hands-on testing of sensors, actuators, and controllers
- Collaborate with external vendors to manage validation testing
- Set up and manage data logging systems and analyze performance results
- Support CAD design and prototyping of test fixtures and tools
- Drive continuous improvement in validation processes and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
- 3+ years in automotive system testing, especially mechatronics
- Skilled with test equipment, diagnostics tools (CAN/LIN), and data analysis tools (MATLAB, Python, Diadem)
- Experience with test automation (Arduino, Raspberry Pi)
- Familiar with tools like Jira, Jama, and Confluence
