HR Business Partner – Manufacturing

Western Sydney | 12-month FTC (high likelihood to convert to permanent)
$145k + super + bonus



We’re partnering with a Leading Global Manufacturing Organisation undergoing significant transformation across its Australian operations. This is a key HR Business Partner role supporting a Senior Operations leader and will suit an experienced HRBP with strong employee relations capability and experience partnering closely with operational teams



You’ll act as a true business partner to manufacturing leadership, owning complex employee relations matters and playing a key role in shaping the future people structure across supply operations. The business is investing heavily in its Australian footprint, with strong growth plans and genuine long-term opportunity for the right person.



Key responsibilities



  • Lead end-to-end employee relations across a manufacturing workforce
  • Manage complex ER cases such as: performance, grievances, investigations, relocations and workforce change
  • Own workers’ compensation and health & safety matters, partnering closely with site leadership
  • Support EBA negotiations, including preparation, union engagement and bargaining processes
  • Partner with Operations to design and map organisational structures, career pathways and capability frameworks within supply
  • Implement training frameworks and workforce capability metrics
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders during periods of transformation and growth
  • Work closely with external stakeholders to ensure compliant and pragmatic outcomes



What are we looking for?



  • Experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Manager role within manufacturing
  • EBA negotiation experience
  • Deep knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations
  • Confident managing complex ER cases in fast-paced environments
  • Ambitious, hands-on and keen to grow with the business
  • FMCG or large-scale manufacturing experience (e.g. food, consumer goods, industrial manufacturing) highly regarded
