Pay Range:$22.50-27.50/hr
Position Summary
We are seeking an HR Services Specialist
to serve as a primary point of contact for employees and leaders, providing end-to-end HR support across multiple service channels.
This role will balance real-time phone inquiries with managing a queue of cases through an HR case management system. Responsibilities include researching HR questions, interpreting policies and procedures, completing HR transactions, maintaining employee and position data, and coordinating or escalating complex issues to the appropriate HR teams.
The HR Services Specialist will support a broad range of HR needs, including policy guidance, employee data changes, position and requisition requests, exit interviews, offboarding and termination activities, employee programs, and other HR-related requests.
The ideal candidate will provide a consistent customer experience, accurately document interactions, protect confidential information, maintain data integrity, and ensure requests are completed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of HR-related experience
- Minimum 2 years of office/clerical support experience in an HR-related environment
- Typing speed of at least 40 WPM
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information professionally

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee and leader HR inquiries
- Respond to HR questions through phone and case management channels
- Research and interpret HR policies, procedures, and regulations
- Process employee data changes, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments
- Maintain accurate employee and HR records
- Support benefits administration, open enrollment, qualifying life events, and benefits-related inquiries
- Assist with benefit claims resolution and coordinate with external vendors when needed
- Support recruitment activities, including job postings, employment offers, agreements, and recruitment materials
- Coordinate and support new-hire orientation
- Maintain and update job descriptions
- Support performance management and appraisal processes
- Prepare HR reports and documentation as requested
- Conduct or support exit interviews and offboarding activities
- Provide timely and professional internal and external customer service
- Accurately document cases and maintain data integrity
- Escalate complex HR matters to the appropriate HR teams
- Protect confidential employee information
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned
