A leading global medical technology company is seeking an Information Security Training & Awareness Lead to support employee-facing cybersecurity training, communications, and awareness programs.
This role sits within the Information Security GRC function and is heavily focused on communication and execution—translating technical security concepts into clear, engaging, and business-friendly messaging for a broad employee audience. The role will also support a high volume of projects over the next 6 months, including coverage during a maternity leave.
Strong attention to detail, urgency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver security awareness communications and campaigns
- Create and maintain role-based training using LMS platforms and tools like Articulate
- Manage Workday tickets and ensure timely execution of training-related requests
- Update and maintain training content across platforms for accuracy and compliance
- Support phishing simulation programs and review engagement/results
- Track training completion and report on gaps and metrics
- Manage a shared security inbox and respond to employee queries
- Partner with Security, HR, and Communications teams
- Support Cybersecurity Awareness Month and other engagement initiatives
- Build or enhance training content where needed
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in a training, communications, IT, or security awareness-related role
- Strong communication skills with ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences (core requirement)
- Experience working in or alongside an IT environment strongly preferred
- Familiarity with phishing, social engineering, and cyber security awareness concepts
- Experience with LMS platforms and e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate) preferred
- Exposure to Workday or similar systems a plus
- Instructional design experience is an advantage
- Experience supporting phishing simulations or cyber awareness campaigns is highly desirable
