IT Project Manager III

Pay:$119-124/hr
The Project Manager will initially lead two key initiatives: implementing Opkey, an automated testing platform for Oracle applications (HCMS, Finance, EAM, iSupplier, iProcurement, OLM, and Inventory), and mentoring a junior Project Coordinator on PMO processes and project execution. Additional IT projects may be assigned based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, testing, implementation, and project close.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, Oracle application teams, and third-party vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, action items, issues, key decisions, and status reports.
- Monitor project budgets, accruals, purchase orders, risks, and resource allocation.
- Lead enterprise software implementation projects while ensuring alignment between business and technical teams.
- Mentor a junior Project Coordinator and support PMO standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6–8+ years of experience managing complex IT projects.
- Experience leading enterprise software implementation projects and managing third-party vendors.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps (TFS), Visio, and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification.
- Experience implementing Oracle enterprise applications.
- Experience with enterprise test automation tools such as Opkey.
- Experience managing large-scale testing or UAT initiatives.
- Previous experience mentoring junior project management staff.
