Summary:
Initial 6 month Contract
The main function of a lab coordinator is to perform media preparation, accurately measuring and dispensing, in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records
Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare lab glassware and supplies
- Assist in preparing test supplies
- Operate and clean supporting equipment (e.g autoclaves, dishwashers, etc)
- Assist in maintaining laboratory paperwork
- Verify and change temperature charts on lab equipment on a routine basis
- Enter test results into MS Excel to create trend charts
- Distribute cleaning logs to appropriate manufacturing areas
Additional Skills:
- Basic computer skills, required
- Ability to read, comprehend and speak German, required; basic ability to read and comprehend English, required
- Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills
- Basic knowledge of laboratory processes
- Basic knowledge in mathematics, e.g., decimals and percentage
- Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturing
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to work with own team environment
Education and Experience:
- Secondary Education or equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience required
