Position Summary
Our client, a leading organisation in the energy and utilities sector, is seeking a Land Services Representative to join their Land Services team. This role is centred on designing, documenting, and standardising land acquisition workflows and processes—including building out a comprehensive land services manual with approximately 40 documented workflows. You will work across multiple Land, Legal, Title, Contracts, and Development teams as a process-focused resource, engaging stakeholders and subject matter experts to map, capture, and refine processes across all project phases. Success requires wearing multiple hats: managing documentation, coordinating across teams, ensuring accuracy in critical land data, and communicating standardised processes clearly and consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, document, and standardise land acquisition workflows, SOPs, and training materials; build out a comprehensive land services manual with ~40 documented workflows
- Engage stakeholders, SMEs, and multiple internal teams to map existing processes, identify gaps, and refine workflows across all project phases
- Take large amounts of data and land agreement information and document it effectively for consistency and clarity
- Maintain accurate land acquisition data in Salesforce; manage and quality-check land agreement requests
- Review title documents, easements, and land agreements for accuracy and consistency
- Coordinate across internal teams—Land, Legal, Title, Contracts, Development—to ensure workflow continuity and project momentum
- Deliver training to team members on standardised processes, tools, and updated workflows
- Support land acquisition activities across all project phases, from pre-bid through operations
Education & Experience
- 5+ years in land acquisition, title research, real estate operations, or related field
- Experience with end-to-end land acquisition processes for infrastructure, transmission, or long linear projects
- Working knowledge of land contracts, easements, options, and title documents
- Strong ability to review title documents, verify ownership, interpret legal descriptions, and understand workflows
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- Experience with SharePoint or similar collaborative document platforms
- Knowledge of long linear or overhead infrastructure projects—highly valued
- Paralegal or land specialist background—advantageous but not required

- Clear written and verbal communication, including presentation and training delivery
