A major UK financial services organisation is seeking a corporate lawyer to join it's tight knit legal team. You’ll work on high-value risk transfer and reinsurance transactions, while supporting governance and broader group initiatives.
This is an ideal opportunity for a transactional lawyer with M&A or reinsurance experience looking to move into a broad role which sits closely with the business and has excellent commercial exposure.
Key responsibilities:
- Drafting, negotiating and managing transaction documents from early-stage structuring to completion
- Providing legal support on existing transactions and operational queries
- Supporting governance processes and ensuring legal risks are clearly communicated
- Collaborating with various business teams and senior stakeholders
- Managing external counsel
- Assisting with development of standard documentation and contributing to legal training
About you: - Qualified lawyer with 3+ years' PQE gained in corporate M&A/reinsurance at a leading firm.
- Knowledge of FS regulation helpful but not essential
