Title: Manufacturing Technician

Pay:$21.00/hour

Location: San Diego, CA

Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)

Duration: 3-Month Contract


Position Summary

This role is responsible for performing a wide variety of manufacturing tasks to support high-quality product assembly in a cleanroom and laboratory environment. The position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned manufacturing and assembly operations to produce high-quality products in compliance with cGMP and GDP standards.
  • Complete work order processing, including kitting, sub-assembly, and inventory transactions.
  • Operate automated and semi-automated systems, such as liquid-handling robots and optical/electromechanical equipment.
  • Interpret quality data to make processing decisions and maintain documentation according to SOPs.
  • Conduct final inspection, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of assemblies and integrated systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.
  • Assemble and manage chemical solutions, including hazardous materials, following established procedures.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to identify and escalate issues promptly and ensure continuous workflow.

Qualifications

  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Experience operating automated equipment and using hand tools in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
  • Working knowledge of Work Instructions, SOPs, GDP, and cGMP compliance.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Windows OS and applications such as SAP and Camstar.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
