Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating inventory transfers, reconciling discrepancies, and supporting order fulfillment activities within a regulated warehouse environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate inventory control, compliance with standards, and efficient material flow.
- Transfer finished goods inventory from manufacturing and receiving to warehouse locations for order fulfillment.
- Monitor and segregate finished goods placed on hold.
- Facilitate offsite storage transfers and generate ERP-based reports.
- Perform cycle counts, reconcile variances, and submit results for completion.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies identified through customer service inquiries or reporting tools.
- Conduct random location audits to maintain accuracy.
- Track inventory in temporary transit locations and ensure proper transfers.
- Generate reports and provide performance updates as needed.
- Support picking, packing, and shipping of materials using ERP, FedEx Ship Manager, and UPS Worldship.
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
- Maintain accurate inventory records in alignment with GMP and ISO standards.
- Collaborate with departments such as manufacturing, planning, customer service, finance, and external vendors to resolve inventory issues.
- Assist with special projects and provide reporting as requested.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience in materials or logistics roles, preferably in a life sciences or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with GMP and ISO standards.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and shipping software (FedEx, UPS).
- Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access); ability to prepare reports and presentations.
- Analytical skills with the ability to resolve discrepancies independently.
- High attention to detail, with excellent math and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
- 3–5 years of materials management, logistics, or inventory control experience.
- Prior experience with temperature-sensitive products is a plus.
