Network Engineer

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Max Pay Rate:$106-111/hr.

Work Arrangement

• First two weeks onsite in Los Angeles.
• Following the initial two weeks, onsite 1 week per month.
• Working hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST.

Role Overview

The SAP Security / GRC Consultant will be responsible for performing audit testing, addressing and mitigating audit findings, implementing SAP user access controls, and supporting security and compliance initiatives across SAP systems. This role will also establish development processes, documentation, and templates while supporting alignment of development practices across SAP systems and application teams.

The consultant will assist with the evaluation and implementation of new SAP technologies and solutions, identify and mitigate associated security risks, and coordinate system, platform, and network enhancements in accordance with corporate standards and user access policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform audit testing in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Submit audit findings as assigned and develop appropriate remediation plans.
• Mitigate and address audit findings and security risks.
• Implement and configure SAP user access controls to reduce organizational security risks.
• Create processes and templates for SAP feature implementations.
• Develop documentation and templates supporting development activities within the assigned domain.
• Support the alignment and standardization of development practices across SAP systems and application teams.
• Assist in evaluating new SAP technologies and solutions.
• Analyze new technologies to identify, assess, and mitigate potential security and compliance risks.
• Coordinate system, platform, and network enhancements while adhering to corporate standards and user access policies.
• Support SAP security, identity and access management, audit, and compliance initiatives.

Required Qualifications

SAP Security – Intermediate

• Strong understanding of SAP security and configuration within the SAP packaged platform.
• Knowledge of SAP XSA.
• Experience implementing and managing SAP user access controls.
• Ability to identify and mitigate SAP security risks.

Identity & Access Management (IAM) – Intermediate

• Knowledge of designing and delivering solutions for establishing user, application, and device credentials.
• Understanding of processes for applying credentials to access enterprise systems and applications.
• Experience supporting enterprise identity and access management practices.

Audit & Compliance – Intermediate

• Strong understanding of audit and compliance requirements for technology systems.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance (SAP GRC).
• Experience performing audit testing and remediating audit findings.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree required.

Experience

• 8+ years of professional experience in SAP Security, IAM, Audit/Compliance, or a related SAP technology domain.
