Job Overview
The Oracle eBusiness Developer will provide advanced technical and functional support for Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.2.10, with a focus on the EAM, SCM, and Inventory modules. This role requires strong expertise in APEX, JAVA, OAF, PL/SQL, SQL, Web-ADI, and Workflow development. Operating with minimal supervision, the Senior Specialist will support business users, deliver system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable service delivery across Oracle applications.
The position involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, active participation in change management processes, and consistent adherence to SOX and organizational controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily customer and technical support for Oracle EAM, SCM, and Inventory modules.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite applications, customizations, and extensions.
- Assist and backfill support for EAM, Inventory, and SCM modules as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including collaboration with Oracle Support to resolve Service Requests.
- Gather system specifications and business/technical requirements from users to support system improvements.
- Configure, test, and implement Oracle E-Business Suite components and related applications.
- Facilitate and coordinate end-user acceptance testing, issue management, and change management activities.
- Apply industry-standard project management principles throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain detailed documentation for system customizations, extensions, and configuration changes.
- Acquire and maintain comprehensive system and business knowledge to support users and internal technical teams.
- Ensure completion of all relevant Change Management tasks and compliance with SOX requirements.

- Oracle Development Tools: APEX, JAVA, OAF, PL/SQL, SQL, Web-ADI, Workflow
- Toad, SQL*Plus
Qualifications
Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or equivalent experience (required/preferred).
Experience: - 5+ years of IT experience in application development and support (required).
- 3–5 years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, preferably with EAM, Inventory, and SCM modules.
- 3–5 years of experience with Oracle development tools including APEX, JAVA, OAF, PL/SQL, SQL, Web-ADI, and Workflow.
- Experience customizing applications using OAF (required).
- Experience with Oracle 12.2.10 or newer releases (preferred).
Skills & Competencies: - Strong understanding of Oracle EAM, SCM, and Inventory technical objects, Application Object Library, and SOA (preferred).
- Proven background in development, implementation, production support, and upgrades.
- Ability to work across multiple roles (Business Analyst & Developer).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (required).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
