Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Techno-Functional Specialist
to support Oracle E-Business Suite HCM modules (Release R12.2.x). This role requires the ability to work with minimal supervision while providing technical and functional support for customizations, extensions, and ongoing production support.
The specialist will collaborate closely with business users, participate in change management activities, and contribute to overall service delivery and customer satisfaction as part of a large Oracle support team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical development and functional support for Oracle E-Business Suite HCM modules.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specification documents.
- Develop, enhance, and support customizations and extensions across Oracle HCM modules.
- Complete all required change management activities, including SOX-related controls (as applicable).
- Apply industry-standard project management methodologies, tools, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support production issues, enhancements, implementations, and upgrades.
- Track deliverables and provide status reporting to management as needed.
- Continuously expand functional and technical knowledge using available learning resources.
- Work effectively as part of a large Oracle support team.
- Travel up to 10%, as required.

Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor of Science degree from a 4-year accredited university OR
- 15 years of related industry or technical experience
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or CIS
Experience
- 5+ years
of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite HCM modules:
- HR, Payroll, OTL, Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB), Absence Management, Workflow
- 3+ years
of experience with:
- Oracle Learning Management (OLM)
- Compensation Workbench (CWB)
- 5+ years
of experience with:
- Payroll, OAB, and OTL Fast Formula
- 3+ years
of experience with:
- OTL time entry rules
- Absence Management
- 2+ years
of experience with:
- Oracle Payroll processes, pay elements, and Fast Formula
- HRMS US Year-End W-2 processing
- Experience with implementations, upgrades, and production support.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple concurrent projects.
Technical Skills
- Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.x (required)
- Oracle Development Tools (5+ years):
- Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, XML Publisher
- Web ADI, Workflow, SQL*Loader
- Oracle RDBMS 19c on Linux x86_64 (preferred)
- Oracle Developer 10g (required)
- Tools:
- Toad, SQL*Plus, UNIX (required)
- Visual Studio GIT/ADO and FlexDeploy (preferred, not required)

- 5+ years with Payroll, OAB, and OTL Fast Formula.
- 3+ years with OTL time entry rules.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.x.
- Experience with Toad, SQL*Plus, and UNIX.
