Planner Scheduler II
Location: Juno Beach, FL
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Schedule: Standard Office Hours
Pay Rate: Up to $29.97/hour
About the Role
Our client is seeking a Planner Scheduler II to support the successful delivery of major engineering and construction projects across a diverse portfolio of energy infrastructure.
You'll work directly with Project Originators, Developers, Early Stage Project Managers, Project Engineers and Construction Managers to develop and maintain detailed project schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
Projects may include:
- Wind Energy
- Solar Energy
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Transmission Lines
- Substations
- Pipelines
- Combined Cycle Power Plants
- Other major capital infrastructure projects
Reporting to the Scheduling Manager, you'll play an integral role in developing accurate schedules, coordinating project activities and providing schedule analysis to project teams and senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Create baseline and progress schedules throughout project lifecycles.
- Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis.
- Prepare monthly schedule reports and schedule variance analysis.
- Evaluate schedule impacts and assist with recovery planning.
- Support resource loading, manpower planning and cost loading activities.
- Lead schedule review meetings with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Gather project scope, constraints and logistics information from stakeholders.
- Coordinate schedule updates across engineering, construction and development teams.
- Present schedule updates and project status to management.
- Support continuous improvement of scheduling processes and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years' experience using Primavera P6.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Experience supporting engineering, construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling principles and Critical Path Method (CPM).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience preparing project status reports and schedule analysis.
