About the Role

As Portfolio Manager, you’ll oversee the end-to-end delivery process – from managing project priorities and dependencies to mitigating risks and reporting on progress. You will work closely with internal teams, including Project Managers and Business Analysts, as well as external partners to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage, prioritise, and schedule a portfolio of projects aligned with business goals
  • Lead and mentor a team of internal and external Project Managers and Business Analysts
  • Oversee portfolio-level dependencies, risks, and issues to keep projects on track
  • Maintain and improve project management and business analysis best practices
  • Act as IT Business Partner for assigned business functions
  • Produce and maintain project documentation and plan templates
  • Track and report on project portfolio progress, focusing on budget, scope, resources, and timelines
  • Identify and address critical risks and dependencies early in the project lifecycle, and see them through to resolution
  • Collaborate with Core Delivery & Data Management teams to ensure high-quality delivery

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience in Portfolio Management, including managing priorities, risks, and dependencies across multiple projects
  • Significant experience delivering projects through the full lifecycle, ideally using Waterfall methodology
  • Strong background in Finance, HR, Customer Service, and Relationship Management
  • 3rd party vendor management experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills; confident working with and influencing senior leaders
