AI Engineering Lead / Principal AI Engineer
Remote (UK) | Permanent (£120k-£225k)
I am working with a fast-growing AI start up that is looking to hire a hands-on AI Engineering Lead / Principal AI Engineer to help build and deliver enterprise AI solutions for major clients.
This role sits at the intersection of AI engineering, architecture and client delivery. You'll be designing and implementing AI-enabled solutions using leading LLM platforms while helping shape the future of the engineering function.
Key experience sought:
- Building commercial GenAI / AI solutions
- OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude or Microsoft Copilot
- LLMs, RAG, AI Agents and orchestration frameworks
- APIs, integrations and enterprise architecture
- Strong software engineering background (ideally Python)
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and enterprise environments
