Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will support new product introductions and process capability improvements within the reagent development services function. You will execute custom formulations and fills, collect experimental data, and collaborate with project teams and internal partners to rapidly investigate issues, develop countermeasures, and prevent recurrence. A successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to work independently in a team-oriented environment.
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
- Follow reagent manufacturing processes in a clean room environment, including proper gowning protocol.
- Operate mixing and filling equipment, including automated dispensing, with thorough documentation.
- Perform multiple operations in parallel during a workday as needed.
- Collect and organize experimental data based on engineering instructions using Excel.
- Execute repetitive operations methodically to minimize variation.
- Apply basic failure analysis techniques.
- Maintain a clean and operable laboratory environment, including weekly or monthly cleaning activities.
- Manage daily stocking of laboratory supplies.
- Maintain availability for daytime working hours (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, first shift).
Knowledge & Skills:
- Wet-lab experience.
- Exposure to laboratory production or testing.
- Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Knowledge of common laboratory practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Education & Experience:
- 1–2 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in a related field or current enrollment preferred.
- Experience executing batch records per GDP.
- Prior laboratory experience required.
- Experimental testing experience preferred.
