Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide oversight and leadership for utility-related civil and electrical infrastructure projects. This role manages projects through the full lifecycle—from initiation and planning through construction and close-out—ensuring successful delivery in terms of cost, schedule, and quality.

The Project Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders while actively contributing to planning, risk management, and execution activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide project management oversight throughout the full project lifecycle:
  • Scoping & initiation
  • Planning & design
  • Permit and easement acquisition
  • Civil and electrical construction
  • Project close-out
• Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously with accountability for cost, methods, and outcomes
• Take direct ownership of critical tasks to ensure successful project execution
• Identify problems and implement practical solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish:
  • Objectives
  • Timelines
  • Risk analyses
  • Milestones
  • Deliverables
• Utilize project controls to manage:
  • Budgets and schedules
  • Forecasting and trend analysis
  • Variance analysis
  • Performance tracking against budget targets
• Maintain schedules and project plans
• Establish priorities, resolve conflicts, and ensure timely task completion
• Demonstrate understanding of core PM concepts and ability to learn internal processes and portfolio structures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business, technical, or related discipline
• (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
• 7–10 years of relevant project management experience
• Proficiency with:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Project
  • Microsoft Teams
  • SAP
  • Primavera P6

Preferred Qualifications

• Utility industry experience
• Underground utility experience
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
• 5+ years of dedicated project management experience in infrastructure environments
