Program Test Manager
We’re partnered with a leading Australian retail organisation embarking on a major SAP transformation program that will modernise core systems. This multi-year initiative is pivotal to the company’s digital strategy, and they’re looking for an experienced Program Test Manager to lead testing across this complex landscape.
The Role
As the Program Test Manager, you’ll be responsible for defining and delivering the end-to-end testing strategy for the SAP S/4HANA program. You’ll oversee multiple streams including functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT, ensuring quality and stability across all program phases. Working closely with the business, delivery partners, and system integrators, you’ll provide strong governance and leadership to drive a successful transformation.
Key Responsibilities:

Own and deliver the end-to-end SAP testing strategy, governance, and execution plan, ensuring alignment with program goals and timelines.

Oversee all testing phases (Unit, Integration, System, UAT, Regression, Automation, Performance) across multiple releases and waves.

Lead and mentor test leads and analysts across onshore and offshore teams, coordinating activities with internal teams, third parties, and system integrators.

Develop and manage test plans, scripts, and data, ensuring comprehensive coverage and defect resolution through to closure.

Drive test automation and performance testing initiatives, ensuring systems meet load and response requirements.

Provide clear metrics, dashboards, and reporting, maintaining audit-ready deliverables and compliance with governance standards.
About You:

15+ years experience in Test Management. Proven experience managing large-scale test programs including full-cycle SAP implementation.

Hands-on experience across all phases of testing – including planning, design, execution, automation, performance, and defect management – actively contributing to both strategic direction and technical delivery.

Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior business and technology leaders.

Ability to manage distributed teams and work in complex, fast-paced environments.

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
