This role is responsible for managing and coordinating a wide range of utility-related projects from initiation through completion. The position requires strong ownership of assigned work, including oversight of project schedules, dependencies, submittals, stakeholder communication, and reporting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of independently driving tasks to completion while supporting project managers and collaborating across multiple internal and external teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Serve as the owner for assigned commodities from project submission through project closure.
- Facilitate meetings, identify deliverables, and coordinate scheduling with internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform reviews of complex project submittals (e.g., Rule 15) in support of project managers.
- Independently produce project updates, reports, and tracking information for project managers.
- With limited oversight, identify outstanding dependencies and deliverables and schedule work orders accordingly.
- Provide insights during customer collaboration meetings, district tactical meetings, and regional grid team meetings.
- Act as a subject matter expert for project management support staff, providing training and mentorship.
- Resolve project conflicts, delays, and errors through effective stakeholder collaboration.
- Conduct regular data-integrity audits of tracking systems and reporting tools to ensure accuracy.
- Input notes, records, and documentation as required.
- Apply advanced knowledge of utility policies, programs, and procedures related to distribution and/or transmission electrical line construction.

Job Qualifications
- Education: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Analytical Experience: Minimum 5 years analyzing and interpreting data sets.
- Project Experience: Minimum 5 years project coordination or project management experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Minimum 2 years of data manipulation and visualization experience (formulas, PowerBI, analytical tools)
- Industry Experience: Minimum 2 years in the utility industry preferred.
- Systems Experience: Minimum 2 years working with database software (e.g., Access, SAP, or equivalent).
