Project Management Consultant – Level 1 (0–5 Years Experience)

Location: Juno Beach, FL

Schedule: Standard Office Hours

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Pay Range:$28.50–$33.50/hr


Position Overview

Our client, a leading global renewable energy developer, is seeking an early-career Project Management Consultant to support solar engineering and construction initiatives. This role supports the Early-Stage Engineering & Construction (E&C) team and works closely with a Regional Lead Project Manager to assist in the development and advancement of solar projects.

This is a progressive entry-level project management role offering strong exposure to renewable energy development and significant career growth opportunities within the project management track.


Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of assigned solar development projects, supporting management through early-stage phases including screening, diligence, and early-stage pipeline development prior to handoff to late-stage project management.
  • Collaborate with a Regional Lead Project Manager to ensure projects are technically feasible, financially viable, and aligned with project schedules and commercial objectives.
  • Analyze technical and financial project data, identifying trends, key indicators, and risks related to project performance.
  • Support development and management of capital budgets for assigned solar projects.
  • Assist with development and permitting activities, coordinating with internal subject matter experts including engineering and commercial teams.
  • Participate in problem resolution, construction planning, and schedule development for solar projects.
  • Support commercial contract negotiations and execution where required.
  • Utilize multiple project management and data systems to track deliverables, maintain documentation, and manage project data.
  • Assist with presentations and communications to senior leadership, working with the Regional Lead.
  • Provide additional support activities to ensure team readiness, project organization, and successful project progression.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and self-motivated work style
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment
  • Capable of working independently with limited supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong financial analysis and data interpretation skills
  • Interest or familiarity with technical or mechanical systems
  • Exposure to construction, energy, infrastructure, or solar projects
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career path in Project Management
