Role Overview
This role supports early-stage solar engineering and construction projects within a pre-construction environment. Working under limited direction from a Regional Lead Project Manager, the consultant will provide system, business, and project support across technical, commercial, construction, and financial dimensions.

Key Responsibilities
- Own assigned solar projects through the early-stage/pre-construction phase in preparation for handoff to construction teams
- Manage all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring technical feasibility, schedule alignment, commercial support, and financial viability
- Analyze technical and financial data to identify trends, risks, and key project variables
- Support development, ownership, and active management of capital budgets for assigned projects
- Coordinate with internal subject matter experts across engineering, permitting, and development functions
- Support engineering coordination, issue resolution, and optimization efforts
- Assist with development of construction plans and schedules
- Support commercial contract negotiations and execution activities
- Manage project data, documentation, and deliverables across multiple software systems
- Communicate project status and key updates to senior leadership with guidance from the Regional Lead
- Perform additional project and organizational support tasks as required to maintain team readiness and project viability
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong financial modeling, budgeting, or data analysis experience
- Mechanical awareness or interest in technical project variables
