Job Summary
This role supports the oversight and coordination of assigned projects to ensure alignment with budget, schedule, and safety requirements. The position involves monitoring contractor performance, resolving site-level issues, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Work is primarily office-based, with occasional travel to project sites.
Responsibilities
- Assess productivity, schedule adherence, safety compliance, and work quality across assigned projects.
- Participate in walkdowns, validate completed work against design requirements, and support review of contractor payment requests.
- Verify constructability, assess field status, ensure proper resource allocation, and help resolve technical or operational issues.
- Support project scope control, budgeting, performance reporting, scheduling, and monitoring of work-in-progress.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and local officials; interface with landowners and state entities as needed.
- Reinforce expectations regarding safety, procedures, lessons learned, corrective actions, and professional conduct.
- Support cross-functional efforts involving safety, engineering, construction, budgeting, analytics, and contract administration.
- Build and maintain project schedules in Smartsheet; coordinate with vendors on material availability and execution timelines.
- Analyze project metrics, financial data, and operational trends to support decision-making.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education
- Associate’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Land Surveying, or related field required.
- PMP certification preferred.
Experience & Skills
- 0–5 years of experience in project execution, vendor/contractor coordination, or related project management work.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Familiarity with project management tools; experience with Microsoft Project or Smartsheet required.
- Experience in construction, energy, or renewable industries preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
