Project Manager – Asset Management Programs
Location: Rosemead, CA (Hybrid)
Contract: 12 Months
Pay Rate: Up to $74.00/hour
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support strategic Asset Management initiatives for a leading California electric utility.
This position will play a key role in coordinating cross-functional teams responsible for regulatory planning, investment strategy and capital programmes. The successful candidate will develop and manage integrated project schedules, monitor milestones, identify risks, facilitate stakeholder alignment and ensure successful delivery of critical regulatory commitments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules supporting asset management programmes.
- Coordinate activities across Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Risk Management, Strategy and operational teams.
- Track milestones, dependencies and project deliverables.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular status reporting.
- Identify project risks and issues while driving timely resolution.
- Facilitate collaboration across multiple business functions.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure governance standards are met.
- Support delivery of strategic investment plans and regulatory submissions.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Strong experience managing integrated schedules and multiple workstreams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with milestone tracking, issue management, risk management and project reporting.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience within the electric utility industry.
- Knowledge of Asset Management, Capital Planning or Regulatory programmes.
- Experience supporting General Rate Case (GRC), RAMP, WMP or similar regulatory initiatives.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Experience delivering executive-level or regulator-facing documentation.
