Manager, Project/Product II

Location: Irwindale, CA – Hybrid (2 days/week onsite)

Duration: 12-month contract

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Pay Rate:$70–$75/hr

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Project/Product Manager to lead complex, high-visibility enterprise initiatives. This role will drive cross-functional teams, develop project strategies and plans, manage scope, schedules, risks, resources, and budgets, and ensure successful delivery of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale, cross-functional projects from inception through completion.
  • Develop project strategies, business cases, roadmaps, schedules, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, dependencies, and interdependencies.
  • Facilitate meetings, presentations, and stakeholder discussions to drive alignment and results.
  • Track project performance, deliverables, resources, and key metrics.
  • Partner with leadership, internal teams, and external vendors to drive solutions and stakeholder buy-in.
  • Support business readiness activities, including stakeholder engagement, change management, training, and communications.
  • Identify issues and risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Hold project teams accountable for milestones, deliverables, and outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience managing projects, programs, or contracts.
  • Experience delivering large-scale programs or projects with significant organizational impact.
  • Proven experience facilitating cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience managing project scope, budget, schedule, resources, and performance reporting.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels of an organization.
  • Experience supporting change management and business readiness initiatives.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Project Management certification preferred.

Preferred: Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
