QC Technician II | St Paul, MN
We're partnering with an established medical device manufacturing company that is looking for a Quality Control Technician II to join their team in St. Paul, MN. This is a hands-on quality role supporting the inspection, testing, documentation, and release of both sterile and non-sterile medical products. You’ll play an important role in maintaining product quality and compliance across manufacturing operations.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity paying $23–$25/hour, depending on experience, with overtime available. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform QC inspections and testing to verify materials, products, processes, and controlled environments meet specifications and quality requirements.
- Review manufacturing records, sterile processing data, test results, certifications, labeling, and related documentation.
- Identify, document, segregate, and investigate nonconforming materials and support MRB activities and product disposition.
- Maintain QA hold and quarantine areas and inspect returned goods.
- Support equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and qualification activities.
- Perform environmental monitoring, including temperature/humidity and controlled environmental area monitoring.
- Maintain accurate quality records and support updates to quality procedures and work instructions.
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of quality control and inspection experience within medical device manufacturing or within another highly regulated environment.
- High school diploma/GED required; a 2-year technical degree is preferred.
- Experience with inspection and measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, indicators, comparators, and microscopes.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical documents, specifications, and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and technical quality documentation.
- ISO 13485/FDA quality systems, sterilization, microbiology, or biocompatibility experience is a plus
