About the Role
· Our Financial Services client are looking for a Release & Change Specialist to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of technology changes and releases across the organisation.
· This position follows ITIL v4 principles and supports the commitment to high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities
· Develop and oversee a strong change and release management framework that aligns with ITIL v4, ensuring all technology changes are rigorously assessed, approved, and implemented.
· Lead end-to-end release management activities, including defining processes, planning release schedules, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with agreed standards.
· Track and supervise release and deployment cycles, ensuring comprehensive testing, validation, issue resolution, and accurate progress reporting.
Experience
· ITIL v4 certification and hands-on experience with ServiceNow.
· Strong understanding of ITIL v4 and practical experience using modern ITSM tools.
· Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective Change Enablement and Release Management practices, with strong knowledge of SDLCs, including Agile.
· Broad experience across multiple technology environments, particularly cloud platforms, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and promote adherence to governance processes.
· Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to excel in fast-paced and collaborative environments.
